New Students for the New York Next Step Fall 2009 Semester

During your college orientation, you were provided with specific information about what the college requires from you as part of the admission process. Remember, you must satisify all college requirements by the deadline given to you by your college at your orientation. Failing to comply with ALL college requirements will result in your removal from the Next Step Program. If you are unsure of what is required or your college deadline, please contact your college's Program Coordinator.

New York Next Step Fall 2010 Applicants

Testing for Fall 2010 is now complete.

If you are a registered candidate for the Fall 2010 semester and have successfully passed all four sections of your entrance test or were previously test qualified, congratulations, you are in the pool of candidates for the Fall 2010 semester. The next steps in the process to becoming a Next Step Student:

• April 2009 – December 2009: Company qualification for new-to-craft associates – you will receive notifications as you progress through this process, if we’ve reached your Net Credited Service Date (NCSD) in the qualification process
• September 2009 – October 2009: Fall 2010 Program offer letters will be mailed mailed to those who are test qualified and meet the Net Credited Service Date (NCSD) cutoff. In September, you will receive a letter explaining how to check on your status via our on-line ASK GUS system.
